Peace out...

Just a blog ranting about this and that and sharing my life with who ever wants to read it.

My last blog was on coincidences. Well, this morning when I read this story I knew this was "not" a coincidence, it is a sign. Anytime when you hear about a death of someone and not too long following the death of their mate it usually is a sign of soulmates. Particular soulmates whose purposes without the other are complete. When I read this story it gave me chills.

This doesn't have to be lovers for this to happen. Ana Nicole's passing not long after her son...another spiritual sign. Even when deaths are accidental, etc., in essense there are no accidents we all make our exit somehow and when our karma is completed we simply go.

Synchronicity...when I first experienced it, it was so strong I didn't know what it was. I had an experience and after the experience there was all these "signs" regarding it. This led me going to the internet and putting certain search terms in the engine such as coincidences, etc., and then I found the word Synchronicity. This word was coined by Carl Jung to express a concept of his. As soon as I read it, I knew he was right on.

This life is but a path that we mapped out. We don't remember the mapping, but we mapped it and there are these "signs" that helps us along the way. Will we listen to the signs..or will we instead just say.".oh, it was just a conincidence"?

Granted there are mere coincidences and then there are signs. Part of life is "figuring it out". While some people think this is just crazy stuff...I must agree that we've got to keep a level head concerning these types of spiritual matters. I try hard to find a "middle" ground that keeps me grounded and rooted to this life. Afterall what good are we doing anyone if we live so far out in left stream...that we aren't being a part of the world. We are here to live in it...To me there is a happy medium to meet. A place where you can enjoy life for what it is...and then also be intuned with your purpose and karmic reasons so you don't have to come back and do it all over again. God forbid. LOL

So for those who have perhaps stumbled across this article because you are experiencing some things that you are trying to figure out...chances are it means something and you need to pay attention. For some reason I felt like I was suppose to write about this. If you are having a lot of coincidental happenings...don't pass it off. Look and listen to what it is telling you. It's the universe doing its spectacular thing.

Peace out!

I've been on blogging hiatus...some heavy stuff in my life. At first I wanted to write about it...but that soon shifted. Feelings are a complex thing. They sometimes bury themselves deep within the confounds of ones soul...the secret is letting them appear again, letting them to become unburied and release them so that they can become a part of your essense of who you are.

Kahlil Gibran wrote, "Much of your pain is self chosen, it is the bitter portion by which the physician within you heals its sick self. Therefore, trust the physician and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility. For his hand, though heavy and hard is guided by the tender hand of the unseen. And the cup he brings, though it burns your lips, has been fashioned of the clay that the potter has moistened with His own sacred tears." Need I say more?

Today I read an article and watched a you tube video (see below) that I could NOT believe what I read and saw...at first I thought it had to be a TV Evangelist than I learned it was FOX news....that's right. Hume telling Tiger to leave his faith and covert to another. It's this type of disrespect that has caused battles and wars.

Yes Hume...Tiger can recover as a person...and he can do with WITHOUT conversion. Imagine that, people who have other faiths too can recover and become "people" again. I know I am not perfect...but I read stuff like this and I think...what the heck? And seeing this on Fox News? That's crazy stuff there.

Peace out!

It was New Years Day that a flock of ravens made it to my yard. Hundreds it seemed. Each year my yard seems to be their resting place before heading onward south. Ironic that my first day of 2010 I should have such visitors from these controversial birds that seem to get a bad rap...but of course my spirituality has a deeper understanding of these witty creatures that have the innate ability of mimicking human words...(amazing)

They came to my home New Years Day, I had ran out to the local Mickey D's for some coffee and when I had returned I saw (and heard them)in the trees across the street from my house. It was like a scene out of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds... My daughter and her boyfriend said I had just missed them on my lawn, which to me was a real bummer. As I came in to drink my coffee and surf the net, lo and behold here they came again...yet for another break on what they must find to be an inviting lawn....the birds filled the ground and trees...what a mystic sight to see as I managed to get the camera and click this beautiful yet "eery" photo. And a line from Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven rings in my ear, But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling

Peace out...

Pop culture to most people is what makes the world go around. People need icons and individuals to idolize. If people didn't look up to movie stars, musicians and professional athletes than they would not be so disappointed when they learn that they are people just like you and me. The difference is the fame and money but one thing remains the same they are human.

I mean what amazes me is that people who idolize others are people who can completely turn the opposite in their behavior as soon as they become disappointed in a persons actions. Tiger is a good example of this. While Tiger's indiscretions were less favorable to the character he portrayed to everyone, one thing remains the same...he is a freak of nature in the world of golf and is incredible at his game. So if you liked him in his sport that should not change even after his personal issues. Quite frankly in my opinion Tiger should be still playing golf while he is in his "therapy" I mean, that's what he'd have to do if he had a corporate office job.

Pop culture creates an illusion and these famous people began believing that they are "larger than life" but they soon realize when it flips on the other side of the coin that they are not and that yes they too are human. SHOCK!

Give it up people and quit looking up to others and look in the mirror and start looking up to yourself. If you don't like what you see, than change it. But quit looking up at other people and living your life through theirs...that's the great thing about America...anything is possible, and those people you idolize is proof that it can happen. Get a grip on yourself! Peace out.
